  Heute durchströmten gleich mehrere schöne Sets mein Ohr, den Anfang machte Lazer Swords Mix für XLR8R. Erinnert mich an Vinylizer’s BTTB Sessions verfeinert mit einer Prise Modeselektor Style – auf jeden Fall geiler Scheiss.

  HipHop, Future Bass und Electro gekreuzt mit allerhand Soundschnippseln – ‘My Man Busta’ – schön arrangiert. Und wenn gegen Minute 17 die Gitarre einsetzt ist das Ding perfekt.

  Wenn ich aus dem Stehgreif 5 gute Dubstepmixe aufzählen müsste, würde ich einfach auf Ale Fillman verweisen. Der Mann schafft es bei mir einfach immer wieder in die Heavy Rotation. Und ich weiss genau was andere (meiner Meinung nach) falsch machen: zu wenig Abwechslung, kein Blick über den Tellerrand – Ale geht es dagegen richtig an: Glitch, HipHop, Turntablism, Mashup und ordentlich Wobbles = Headbanger!
  So auch der neuste Mix. Zugreifen solange die Downloads noch warm sind!

  Fader + Pitch

  I’m working on the actual design of the Fretless Fader that will be for sale later on. I don’t have a specific timeline for when that will happen, but I’ll let y’all know when I know. This will not be a modified mixer, but a standalone product that you can use with or without your regular DJ mixer. I’m trying to include as many features that have been suggested as possible.

  Die drei Südafrikaner Ninja (Rap-Rave-Master), Yo-Landi Vi$$er (Fre$h, Futuristik Rich Bitch) und Dj Hi-Tek (Beatmaster) – die auch gut aus einem Comic entsprungen sein könnten – haben mich grad fest im Griff. Ihr Genre ist Zef – eine bunte Mischung aus HipHop, Folk, Pop, Rave und Nextlevelshit – die auf jeden Fall gut hör- und tanzbar ist. Vorgetragen wird das ganze in Englisch garniert mit südafrikanischen Schimpfwörtern.

  Irgendwie lässt sich das alles schlecht erklären, deshalb hier eine kurze Video-Introduktion:

  Die völlig überzeichneten Charaktere und die teilweise arg strange Musik sehen zwar irgendwie nach gutem Marketing aus, aber ich kann trotzdem drauf feiern.
  Demnächst dann auf Europa-Tour…

    Auf dem Album sind ein paar coole Sache Tracks dabei. “Enter the Ninja” hatte ich auch schon mal irgendwo gehört.

    Sie find ich ja richtig nice. Weiß auch nicht warum, aber sie hat was. Wäre gern ihr Ninja-Boy ;D

    wie ich es mir schon dachte sind sie “fake”. zumindest teilweise. die hintergrundgeschichte der “band” ist frei erfunden, schräge typen sind es trotzdem und die musik ist (bis auf einige texte) immernoch fokken awesome :D
