Der Freeload aus dem digitalen Hause n5MD ist ein Remixgebräu zum demnächst erscheinenden Album Where Do We Float From Here? (wahrscheinlich 30.3.2010) des Isländers Ruxpin. Vier neue Tracks obendrauf und fertig ist das Geschenk. Ambient, Shoegaze, Braindance oder wie man diese Downing Beats auch immer nennen mag. Ich finds chilli enough to post it – here and now.

Funckarma veröffentlichen am 25. Februar auf Eat Concrete Ihre Dubstoned EP3. Als Preview empfehle ich eine gute Anlage oder Kopfhörer sonst wird man dem Release nicht gerecht.
Die Vinyl Edition wird einen Download Code enthalten um alle Tracks als WAV’s zu laden. Bei der digitalen Variante
gibts neben dem Herrmutt Lobby Remix von ‘Nays of Dight’ noch den Bonus Track ‘Solaz Flair’ dazu.Ein paar Worte aus dem Release Sheet: Dubstoned 3 is equally intelligent as it is rude. Funckarma arranges light
melodic tones with bass-heavy beats on this 4 (or 6) track EP. The mid tempo rhythms and sounds contrast beautifully with the crushing beats and clear production, typical of Funckarma’s style..Unter dem Soundcloud Account von Eat Concrete kann man jetzt schon in die EP hineinhören. Besonders ‘Delibel’ hat mir gefallen, was wohl dem Piano geschuldet ist.

Die Gebrüder Funcken spielen sich mit ihrem diesjährigen CTM Liveset endgültig in meine Livesetcharts. Dubstep im technoiden Korsett, spacig gebolzt und die nächsten Tage für meine Ohren gebucht. Leider kein Download, dafür eine Stunde feinster Braindance.
