Aber den Apparat Remix von Moby’s ‘Pale Horses’ sollte man auf jeden Fall einmal gehört haben. Ich fand Ihn schon immer besser als den wohl bekannteren Gui Boratto’s Last Window Remix.

Moby ließ das komplette ‘Wait Fore Me’ Album remixen. Das Resultat wird am 17. Mai veröffentlicht, aber unter waitformeremixes.com kann man durch die 3 Mashup Mixes einen ersten Eindruck gewinnen.

Bei Mashup mix 1 wird es erst ab der 16. Minute interessant, Mix Numero Due beginnt mit den bereits genannten Remixen, läßt mich aber auch eher kalt. Der letzte Mashup schafft es auch nicht mehr mich zu überzeugen, auch wenn bekannte DJ’s wie Tiesto, Laidback Luke, Gui Boratto, Carl Cox, Paul Kalkbrenne usw. die Stücke neu arrangierten. Alle drei gibts auch als Download.

Zur Single ‘Wait For Me’ startete Moby auch ein Videocontest, dessen Voting vor kurzen – am 12. April – endete. Über 500 Einsendungen gab es, einfach mal unter genero.tv/moby vorbeischauen.

Remixe von Mobys Stücken sind halt immer so eine Sache – selten sind Sie besser als die Originale – ein positives Beispiel, da nahe dran am Original – der Klassiker: ‘Feeling So Real’ im Westbam Remix bzw. Ray Keith Jungle Mix – sagt er und holt die grüne Scheibe mit der blauen Schrift aus dem Regal…
